Orebank Elementary School in Sullivan County, Tennessee served our community for more than 60 years. As the result of a schoolboard decision, the doors were closed in 1986. The intent of this blog is to help reconnect all those with fond memories of our beloved school.

Both of us at the Orebank alumni website had planned to take lots of photos of various and random groups of people at the reunion. Here's what actually happened: one of us stayed so busy she didn't take her camera out of the bag. The other took scads of photos - but only of her class.

I can remember Cheese hanging out with Darrel Larkins and others down by my house a lot in the summers. Cheese was the one I got along with the best. He was a pretty funny guy and was always nice to me. I miss seeing him around!
