Orebank Elementary School in Sullivan County, Tennessee served our community for more than 60 years. As the result of a schoolboard decision, the doors were closed in 1986. The intent of this blog is to help reconnect all those with fond memories of our beloved school.
PLEASE SEND REUNION PHOTOS
Both of us at the Orebank alumni website had planned to take lots of photos of various and random groups of people at the reunion. Here's what actually happened: one of us stayed so busy she didn't take her camera out of the bag. The other took scads of photos - but only of her class.

ReplyDeleteIf anyone is interested, Mrs. Robertson was my great-aunt, sister to Mrs. Jessie Mae Powell, third grade teacher for many years. Also my grandmother.
This has been a rewarding trip down memory lane. Thank you so much for the pictures. These are things I have not seen in years, or some I have never seen. My grandmother passed away in 1974, about 6 years after retiring from teaching at Orebank.
